On 06.08.2012 Plastic Awareness Programe, The rally proceeded through North, South, East & West Street, of Swamimalai, To Participate of Swamimalai Government Higher Secondary School Students, Panchayat Union office Staffs participated in the rally bearing placards and raising slogans that highlighted the hazards of indiscriminate plastic usage. They issued handbills to passers by.
Swamimalai Panchayat President Mr. Deva Rathakrishnan, Swamimalai Police Inspector Mr.Balasundaram were present during the inauguration of rally.
